BTS — Seven Members, One Team

BTS is a South Korean group consisting of seven members: RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook.

They debuted on June 13, 2013, under Big Hit Entertainment, now BIGHIT MUSIC.

Each member brings something different to the team:

  • RM — Leader and rapper
  • Jin — Oldest member and vocalist
  • SUGA — Rapper, songwriter and producer
  • j-hope — Rapper, dancer and performer
  • Jimin — Vocalist and dancer
  • V — Vocalist and performer
  • Jung Kook — Youngest member, vocalist and performer

Their music has evolved from hip-hop and youth-focused songs into a broad combination of pop, hip-hop, R&B and contemporary sounds.

Some of their major eras include The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, WINGS, Love Yourself, Map of the Soul, BE, and their global singles such as "Dynamite," "Butter," and "Permission to Dance."

BTS has achieved major international milestones, including Billboard No. 1 singles, Grammy nominations, major international awards, global tours, and performances on some of the world's biggest stages.

Their fandom is called ARMY, and their relationship with their fans has been an important part of their journey.

After years of individual activities and military service, the seven members entered a new chapter together with their 2026 album ARIRANG.
